Powdered limestone is available in 18kg and 40kg bags and is also available in bulk. The product is used in commercial farming, landscaping and gardening. Ask for it at your local gardening center.

Mosher's agricultural limestone will not burn and therefore can be applied at any time. The best spreaders for applying Mosher limestone are the drop style spreaders. These spreaders minimize dusting and apply an even coat. When applying, it is best to make two applications with the second perpendicular to the first. This ensures an even coat with no missed areas on your lawn.
